MASTERING YOURSELF TO ACHIEVE AND SUSTAIN HIGH PERFORMANCE

This is a practical and highly interactive 1-day Self-Mastery programme that will immediately enhance individual and team performance at work. As the environment around us changes, we have the option to either attribute success and failure to things we have control over, or to forces outside your influence. The choice we make has a lot to do with our mindset towards life.
When coupled with the ability to understand ourselves and others, participants will learn how to maintain positive social relationship with colleagues. Participants will also learn how to solve daily problems they faced in the course of work by leveraging on the power of questions and action learning.
At the end of the workshop, participants will learn to:
1. Understand locus of control and how different types of mindset affect their thinking
2. Identify the different social interaction styles so as to communicate effectively with others
3. Understand the power of questions to engage team members and work as a team to move towards common goals
4. Work in diverse team environment and apply questioning skills through action learning to solve everyday problems
Module 1: To enrich participants with different types of mindsets to empower them to achieve greater impact in their roles.
Module 2: To enrich participants with understanding of social interaction styles to enable them to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
Module 3: To enrich participants with different types of questioning skills that will help them to handle different situations in the course of work.
Module 4: To allow participants to experience the process of Action Learning and how it uses questions to solve critical problems and develop individual competencies.
Lectures will be accompanied by experiential learning activities to help participants reflect on their learning and apply to the workplace. There will be individual reflection, pair discussion and group sharing to draw on real-world examples and facilitate cross sharing of participants’ skillsets and experience. Participants will be encouraged to draw challenges they faced in work context so as to close the gap between transfer of learning to the workplace.
